      Nice...just like USMC boot camp

I hope we don't have to "double up" like we did though.

So expect to go showerless most of the time ?

No I don't know. With the weird phone situation that occurred for me I left a message stating where I wanted without even knowing the options. Blaine must have been an option because they gave it to me.

Pretty much, unless you like to get yelled at by instructors. Shower won't do you much good anyways because as soon as you exit the building you'll be sweating all over again.

I've been in TSU for East TX since 12/23. I am hoping for Corpus Christi, but I know getting offered that port is a long shot. I saw on another message board that they made a few EOD calls about two weeks ago, but only offered Houston and Dallas.

                    • As of June 1st 2009 I read the PFT is changing, some people say it's harder from the one now & some other people say is pretty much the same but for sure is 5 different test instead of 3 how it is now. The Lift and Lower Test and the Step Test are still there. What was added is the Push-up Test, Sit & Reach Test and a Side Step Test which i wonder what they mean by side step? Looking inot the BPA PFT they are similar but for us who are applying for CBPO it doesn't give us a limit like BPA they have a limit on the push up test to do 20 in one minute and 25 sit and reach in one minute. For CBPO it just says as many proper way push-up in one minute same it goes for the sit & reach test. On the CBP page on-line we can find all the practice manual for this. In the mean time I downloaded the BPA practice PFT manual and started using it last week. I recomend the same for those who want to have an idea how the push up & the sit and reach test will be like. You also have a video on the PFT to watch on your own computer and use it as a guide just like if you would in the real test.

                      Good Luck

Now I wonder what does the side step reflects in the job of the CBPO.
