Here is the exact wording of PL 110-161 sec 535: "(2) IMMEDIATE RETIREMENT.—Paragraphs (1) and (2) of section 8412(d) of title 5, United States Code, are amended by striking ‘‘or nuclear materials courier,’’ and inserting ‘‘nuclear materials courier, or customs and border protection officer,’’.
Here's the link: http://frwebgate.access.gpo.gov/cgi-...764enr.txt.pdf
To save you time it the changes to our retirement system start on page 232. The portion I quoted is on page 233.But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new guards for their future security.
For the intelectually challenged: If the government screws the people enough, it is the right and responsibility of the people to revolt and form a new government.

how long am i gonna wait before i know
So it's been 8 months since I met with my B.I. and not even a wiff of any news...There have been about 10 people from my job that applied before and after me that have been sent to Georgia (we all work for TSA at SFO). I have email and called Minn. and I get the same BS answer..."your b.I. is still pending...so hurry up and wait..." my question is how to I directly get in contact with the adjudicator/security office...I've heard stories of people talking to them directly or at least someone with more of a clue to what's happening...any help here would be infinitely appreciated...

FreeAgent-I am not with CBP however federal agencies follow the same pay period schedule set by OPM in cooperation with the National Finance Center (NFC) which handles sending your money to your bank. Like right now we are in the last week of this pay period which ends this Saturday. According to your start date it sounds like you fall in the middle of a pay period which starts on May 10th. Maybe a CBP employee on here can either agree or disagree with me on this.

I want my medical to clear already!! They sent me a letter wanting more information and wanted me to see a speacialist. I did and sent it back a month ago. I've e-mailed them to ask about it and this is the reaponse I got.
With each process there is no time guarantee when it comes to the determination. When the determinations are processed they will be reflected on the status systems:
For a status update of your application, use our customer-friendly automated job status line or get your status online. Both sources will provide current information on Forms, Qualifications, Medical, Fitness Testing, Oral Board, Drug Testing, and Security. Status is available anytime - 7 days per week, 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. Online: Web site address is: cbp.gov. Click on “Careersâ€, Click on the “Central Applicant Self Service (CASS) programâ€, Enter the last 4 of your social security number and date of birth, Click on “loginâ€. Job status line, call: (612) 467-7040. (This is NOT a Toll-Free Number.) Call (612) 467-7040. The system prompts you to enter your application ID and the last four digits of your Social Security Number. The system will guide you through the options. Your applicant ID can be found on the top right hand corner of all your correspondence letters.
