From what I've read you get paid starting with your first day of EOD, you'll be working at your port, lots of paperwork your first day... after that I'm not really sure. Several people have posted their experiences with their first few days. As far as housing, as far as I know it's whatever you can find and on your own dime until you leave for FLETC.

You are right. I stand corrected. Guam, St. Thomas and St. Croix are indeed preclearance locations.

…hence I’m healed from my CASS addiction… now I tend to check my cell phone every few minutes, you know guys, to see if the signal reception is good, battery charged, no missed calls… LOL

The addiction never ends, it just transfers to your cell phone. My cell is crazy glued to my hip 24/7. Congrats and good luck!

                      • I guess CBP wasn’t kidding around when they wrote ‘many vacancies’ for Virginia. I’ve tested in 12/08. Received TO in February. All done in about 75 days. Holy cow, I feel special today

                          • Hey you from San Diego

So I am in TSU for SW border locations. This question is for people, who have entered recently in San Diego, when I get the call which locations will they offer me? Otay and San Isidro? Which is better? How long were you guys in TSU before you got the call and does it seem like they still need people? Thanks in advance for your response!
