Unlikely. A guy down there for CBP looked like a hells angel, sleeves on both arms and all over his neck.

Yeah CBP's policy on tats are fairly relaxed as long as they're not offensive.

            • On the second episode of Homeland Security USA when they showed Detroit; one of the CBPOs had some pretty gnarly tats on his forearm. Obviously they are somewhat relaxed about it...he was on TV representing the CBP and it was OK.

Damn, from what I do understand is that once you get to your port, they would like you to cover them up. Which is understandable and fine with me.

Yeah wouldnt bother me either but that would make a dumb policy. You can have them within reason in military and most police departments, so whats the difference? Maybe if you look a little more intimidating people will comply more anyway. As long as you know your stuff it doesnt and shouldnt matter.

Port policy might deem that to be the way, but you could always file a union grievance, if it was worth the hassel to you. For me i dont want to be working 16 hr shifts in the michigan summer in long sleeves.

No way in hell would I look foward to a 16hr workshift, I don't need the money that bad. I like to have a personal life as well! But I take it you don't always get a say so on mandatory overtime.

LOL! Your take is correct. You often will not have a say in the matter.

I got a wooden nickel that says that the guy wearing anything DEA at a public gym is probably not a DEA agent.
