For the intelectually challenged: If the government screws the people enough, it is the right and responsibility of the people to revolt and form a new government.

We suffer enough from the “clerks with guns†label. Maybe there is little that can be done to current Officers who want to “look the partâ€, but there’s not much for good reasons why new hires can’t be brought on board in “LEO†shape.

Hey guys, just a quick question I've been waiting patiently in TSU for a little over 2 months and I was just wondering when does your Drug/Medical/VBT/Fitness/BI expire?
Let's just say I don't get an EOD date for a year, what would I have to redo?
T.I.A.!

Someone who is "fat and lazy" heading into and graduating from the academy is only more likely to be "fatter and lazier" after a few years on the job. If there’s a reasonable fitness level required in order to graduate from the academy, at least there might be few guys in decent shape hanging around the port.

I was rather disappointed about the lack of a LEO mentality at the CBPI.But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new guards for their future security.

Originally posted by barnaj View PostIm not sure if things expire after your in TSU or not, but the vbt is good for 3 yrs, med and fit for 1 yr, drug test can be initiated randomly and not sure about bi.
So, for example I could be drug tested twice (or more if they wanted to) before going to FLETC.
Ugh, I would hate to go through another BI and most importantly waiting for BI to clear. lolLast edited by bhov97; 02-11-2009, 11:13 AM.

As far as the drug test, i haven't heard of any having to drop twice during the hiring process. That being said though, all jobs in the fed gov't are subject to random drug testing, so stay off the refer!
