Hey how were you able to get a hold of TSU? I know a couple of my buddies that cleared the drug test too and they have their offer already (they cleared drug testing in February 2020). Also, is it safe to say that once you’ve made it this far that you are in and just waiting for an open vacancy? There are people that say they can always decide to reverse their decision and not send you an offer. I’m so confused with this entire process.

Are Polygraph Examinations Still On Hold Due To COVID-19?
I Passed My Structured Interview On September, 12th, 2019.
I’ve sent multiple emails to IA CAD Scheduling, But I Have Yet To Receive A Response.John 3:16-17 (KJV)
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

@ all current applicants awaiting to be scheduled for the polygraph exam for the Northeast and Southeast area. I am wondering if they have been scheduling applicants for the exam lately.

Not sure if this helps but this response from an email with the cbp polygraph section. Obviously it’s a auto response.
COVID-19: Polygraph operations are temporarily suspended. However, after polygraph operations resume, if you are ill, or traveling by air to attend a scheduled polygraph appointment, please request to cancel your test by contacting your examiner. Rescheduling is permitted following a COVID-19 cancellation. CBP strongly advises applicants to adhere to all local travel restrictions imposed to mitigate the spread of the virus. Tests canceled due to travel restrictions will be rescheduled. Please contact your examiner when you identify any travel problems.
Scheduling: Due to the high volume of applicants, it is likely that our office has not yet received your case. Once received, you will be contacted by an examiner as appointments become available in your area. Please expect COVID mitigation to cause scheduling delays.
Polygraph Waiver/Reciprocity: Reciprocity waivers cannot be invoked after failing a polygraph test. If you have specific questions regarding polygraph reciprocity or waiver, contact your Human Resource Specialist at the CBP Hiring Center. Waiver requests/inquiries may be sent to: [email protected]
Complaints: Complaints are taken very seriously by CBP. Please provide specific details of your allegations in writing to this email address: [email protected]
Appeal/Retest: The Quality Control division independently reviews every polygraph examination. Test results cannot be appealed and further polygraph testing is not authorized if the review supports the examiner’s results and confirms the examination was administered in accordance with all applicable policies and procedures.
General Inquiries: Polygraph inquiries are never addressed over the phone. Please send all questions or concerns in writing to this email: [email protected]
Release of Polygraph Information: Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests may be submitted by an applicant on the CBP website: https://www.cbp.gov/site-policy-notices/foia. Please note CBP’s Personnel Security (PSD) does not release background investigation records to non-Federal law enforcement agencies.

Hey everyone,
Does anyone know how a pre academy swap would work if that’s a thing? Or just a swap at any time? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Yeah I want some info on that as well. I need to get out of JFK :-(
-
stanford.west if you don't mind me asking, why you want to get out of JFK?
-
m4rk567 I live in palm beach. Lol.
-
Well...assuming a pre-academy swap would fly with the respective Field Office/Port management, one would first have to find a swap partner and then move forward from there...most likely with some heavy assistance from both the union and local management.

Is anyone currently at EWR awaiting an academy date?
if so, what do they have you doing day to day.
also what schedule do they have you on?
I EOD on 10/19

I have heard that a few places are just giving people paid admin leave as opposed to having them come in and be gophers.

I EOD In July at my POE. We are literally just sitting here waiting on new academy dates. They don’t let you do much of anything since we aren’t officers, but sometimes we get to go out and see things. I’ve been reporting everyday. Just have patience. You’re not in it alone.

For those of you who had their EOD date and were immediately put on paid leave did you have to stick around for the 2 weeks like it says in the email or did you go in and get your HR stuff done and that was it?

Depend on your port, talk to your poc, in some cases, you gotta stick around, do all HR stuff and all the computer base training courses, for 2 weeks. Then you will be on leave. But they are cancelling leave at some ports now so new hires have to come in everyday to just sit around,or few times they can shadow officers to places. best advice is call your poc Buck_Macdonald to know exactly what your port is doing...
