Hey guys, does anyone know of an email or who I can contact about my polygraph? Everything has transferred over but my polygraph which I passed in 2018. I had reapplied and trying to figure out why that hasn't transferred over yet. Appreciate it.

email your case manager, I just did yesterday because my cass poly result only shows on 1 app but not other, after checking, he told me his system shows I passed poly on all applications and thats what matters he said. CASS takes a while to update Hal29

I did. The response was. Your poly results should transfer to the new application. That was it. They never say much and pretty much cookie cut response.

Does CBP require letter of resignation to start FLECT or ore academy? I was thinking about just going on terminal leave until all my leave run out however I’m unsure if the letter is needed.

Are you with a non federal agency? If so you will just report to Fletc at the date instructed. If you are currently in a federal agency, all of your time in service should transfer

(19-3, CBPO, Miami) I had my medical on 2/25/19, 3 months later they asked for additional information and I submitted it immediately via mail since there were so many pages of doctors visits and notes. (Removed half my thyroid) I received an email on 5/28/19 acknowledging they received my paperwork via mail. It is now 8/7/19 and they are still reviewing my paperwork according to CASS app. Should I be worried or is waiting this long normal for a review of documents?

I emailed them after my SI and that got the ball rolling. Got my additional paperwork and submitted it last friday. I am going to email medical this friday if I dont hear that they received it. I wouldnt email every day but there is nothing wrong with emailing once every couple of weeks.

I write them an email once a month, it’s getting pretty ridiculous that it takes more than 3 months to review documents that they asked for! Every time you email them they copy and paste you some generic answer that makes you contemplate why you emailed them in the first place lol

Yeah they emailed me the generic but then a day later they emailed me the additional paperwork. My friend who completed his medical before me and his SI around the same time has not gotten anything about medical. So I guess it depends on their mood. I hope for both of us it clears so we can get put on the poly list. Only thing is my eqip is still in progress for almost 2 months.

Hello guys and gals one quick question. I"m going to be at FLETC Aug 23 i'm going to be there during the holidays, does FLETC allow us to leave base during the holidays or do we train during those holidays Christmas and Thanksgiving new years? If so how long of a break do we get during these holidays

While at FLETC you're a non-essential employee therefore you get all Federal holidays off. Number of days off depends on when the holiday is during the week. IIRC Christmas while I was there was 4 days.

Depends on who you have as an instructor, but generally running, planks, burpees.

My instructor liked ground fighting so that's pretty much all we did. I'm grateful for that, not just because I don't like running lol. I feel better prepared versus my fellow Officer that only did burpees and running.

When you apply to a subsequent announcement from your original one, how long until the information transfers over on CASS and will I have to redo anything since I have already been offered a position with an EOD date? I was told that I had to reapply to announcement 19-11 to get a location listed on that one that was not available or offered to me when I received "the call" in June. Currently my EOD date is 9/27 with a FLETC date of 10/15. Thanks

Hi guys. i have a question. So the website said "Test scores prior to August 5, 2018, are no longer valid. After you take the Entrance Exam, you will not be able to retake the exam for six months regardless of whether you pass or fail." and i did an entrance exam on Jan this year. Do i have to re take it again if i apply another announcement?

19-3 @ 50% here but a while back I applied for CBP tech and have an interview at JFK on the 12th. I know a tech is totally different than a CBPO but can anyone provide me with more info on this position? Any info on the hiring process?

The Techs at my Port handle the cash registers, vehicle stuff, scheduling appointments, payroll etc.

Hello everyone! 19-3 here! Current at 50% on CASS for LAX and waiting on a poly. Normally, what’s the waiting game time on a call for the poly after being cleared for medical?

Hey guys in my experience it took about 2 months from when I took my medical (feb 5) to when I took my poly (April 5th). I am also in the LAX area. I don't remember when my medical was cleared before or after I took my poly. I also had to drive down to San Diego for my poly and when I was talking that with the poly guy he said he had to drive from AZ to San Deigo to do 7 days of polys for this area. So that might also be the reason why its taking so long.

its hard to put a solid number on that as it depends on multiple factors: if you live in a high applicant area the wait will be longer, how many poly specialist are available, how may hours/days they work a week, how many Polys they will do per day ( usually just one) how far you are from the site, etc. Im in the North east, took poly in NJ, back when i took it wait was 4 months in September 2018, I hear that the wait is now around 6 months.

Ohhh got it!! I was asked to submit additional med docs back in May and was barely cleared last week so it looks like the poly is far, far away lol
