QUESTION
I just got the email today to re-certify my medical because it has been more than a year since i took it, nothing has changed except I recently got two of my wisdom tooth removed, and was put on some antibiotics for the pain for a week. My question is, is this something significant enough to declare on the form? they dont specifically ask for anything that has to do with dental.
Thanks ahead.

I received that same email today. Question 4 asks if you have been treated by any clinics, physicians, healers, or other kind of practitioner. I would put that info there. It might delay the process a bit. But it would be worse if you put "No" and then they somehow see that you were in a clinic and then you are withdrawn.
-
Is it a self certification form?
-
FutureCBPO95 someone inside told me he doesnt think a dentist visit is necessary but to disclose it. Hou33guy and i did it outside the country while i was on vacation last week in Dominican Republic, smh.
Gdelgado0220 yes it is.

raudy06 FutureCBPO95 Hou33guy if it's a self certification how would they verify to make sure you didnt have any injuries? Aren't medical records private?

Like BenGrynsztajn said, you signed the medical release form, as far as how will they go about checking (if they feel like they have to) idk, its the government and they have their ways I guess.
-
If you knowingly withhold any information from CBP and later find your application automatically withdrawn, dont blame CBP.
-
FutureCBPO95 withholding information will not only withdraw your application it will also most likely prevent you from getting any federal job, not worth it. People just need to be open and honest.

Im 19-3. Im waiting on a polygraph to be scheduled. Sitting at 50%. Would it overwrite my current regular cbpo announcement tentative selection process if I applied for a new CBP Direct Hire announcement? Thank you.

No, you'll just have an additional application out there and everything will catch up to your current one.
-
invertedPanda Do you think it would it speed up the process if I select direct hire and select a southern border port?
-
That's what im trying. I originally went for Regular hire, but recently put in for direct hire, med and SI scheduled based on my regular hire. so no changes yet.
-
@ 19-2 announcement for JFK port. I am wondering if anyone has received a call or email about the polygraph. I’m in that boat sitting at 50% awaiting for my Polygraph exam. Anyone care to share any feedback will be greatly appreciated. Good luck to all in this hiring process.

fort1978 funny that your investigator told you to text because mine told me not to because it’s against CBP policy to text or correspond with each other through email.

Yeah that is pretty funny. Mines gave me his business card and everything and said call or text him. So I did the day before he turned in my packet and he answered even asked him some questions and he answered all of them. Asked him do we need to meet again and he said no that's it.

Are there any 18-10 or 19-1 applicants on here.if so where are you at in the process. im still waiting on the polygraph to be scheduled. i originally applied in July of 2018 and then again in October 2018. I took my SI and fitness test in September of 2018 and my medical in October of 2018. Heard nothing back until February of 2019 had to submit additional medical docs by April 2019. Finally sitting at 50% as of June 16th 2019. I'm just wondering where others are in the process

19-1 DH at 50% originally 18-6 DH. Took SI, physical agility, and medical in May 2018. Everything cleared except for medical. Turned in additional med info in July. October came and I got medically disqualified because of my vision. Got Lasik. Reapplied that same October, and medical finally cleared in April 2019. Been waiting for poly since.
-
@ Whue Yhue Wow I can't believed you cleared medical so fast, are you DH or Regular?. I did my medical the same month as you, I got placed on review in March, sent docs in within a week, and I still haven't heard a peep from them. I emailed them and they have yet to respond.
-
SmokeScreen07 actually total time to clear medical was 8 months. But i was very persistent and made phone Calls and emails once a month for 2 months. 2 weeks after the 2nd month thats when i knew i had cleared medical. Now im trying a new approach for the polygraph and see if i can meet them instead on waiting on them to be in town. Also i am VRA applicant 5/7/9

18-3: been sitting at 63% since August of 2018! I already had my field investigation done in May and still at 63% SMH I quit
-
dannyboy33 took 7 months for mine to clear.
-
Been at 63% since I passed my poly in July 2018. Lol

-
If my EOD is August 19, when should be I expecting my on-boarding email? I’m already a federal worker so I don’t need to sign anything for incentives.
