Then it get sent to a BI which will contact everyone. I met with my bi. They came to my job, spoke with my neighbors, spoke with about 10 friends. I've been waiting since.

They went to my job as well... I thought I was going to get fired afterwards

I just got the call today to schedule my drug test.. It's the last thing to check off aside from my background inv on CASS!! I hadn't heard anything from them since mid Jan. 2016 when I had the final interview with my BI..

For some weird reasons i was able to clear my BI and poly but my medical is still pending in a med specialist. i would be so sad if the only reason im not getting this job is because of my medical reasons! (barely passed my eye exam)

I had some issues with my medical for disclosing stuff from my childhood. Took me almost 3 months to come off. Did you have to submit any documents?

I'm in Miami and I've been waiting for almost 1 year I passed the background per my BI but it's in internal affairs. Does anyone now why it takes so long?
All I need is my background to clear and drug test... It's crazy how I've basically stopped my life bc of CBP I want to get hired already lol it's going to be 2 years from the original test till now lol

Hello 16-5 applicant from puerto rico, few days ago i recieved my tsl, today i sent my e-Qip i applied in 2014 but i failed the vbt hope that doesn't happen this time, anybody know about san ysidro ? how good or bad is it?

I've asked this a few times to applicants further in the process. My takeaway has been that it's not bad at all, people hate on it because of the overtime. As long as you do 48 hours you don't get drafted for Overtime. It's also in San Diego which is a great city. Being in the San Ysidro Port of Entry you'll also see far more drug busts and arrests than you will at Airports.

No problem. I also feel that for those who start at GS05 or 07 doing some overtime is probably for the best anyway.

What test are you from

I'm 16-1 for San Ysidro.. Turns out this morning my background inv. Was checked off as well so all I have left is my drug test tomorrow and then the pft2

Unbelievable. Took poly yesterday and failed. Was told I would only get re-test if QC decided to let me. Makes zero sense. I passed one for CBP in 2013 Feb. but they said it was expired. Was told a "lot" can happen in 3 years. Was over quick. Was told I was using countermeasures. WTF does that mean? Such garbage. I told them why would I be worried when I've already passed this before? Unbelievable. Anything I can do to appeal this?

How can this be? If I passed in 2013 and failed now, wouldn't that mean something would have happened between then and now? If this machine is accurate, shouldn't they tell my employer since I work in a sensitive position with a clearance as an analyst? Never thought this would happen, had faith in the machine. What a joke.
