Just got this email from MHC.

"Your Background Investigation (BI) packet has been submitted to the CBP Office of Internal Affairs in Washington, DC. Due to privacy issues we at the Minneapolis Hiring Center do not have access to your background investigation."

Can anyone tell me if this is good or bad? I can't recall reading a post of an applicant having their BI sent to IA.

This is normal. That is the office in charge of the investigation.

Yes. Base salary.

Base salary plus location pay and whatever holiday pay is accrued. ..most likely.


FWIW, they would pay overtime, evening, midnight and Sunday differentials as well...if you work them. Most trainees will see little to no differentials beyond holiday pay.

Hang in there ladies! I took mine last year and I'm under the impression they are using my last poly considering it was within the year. And I haven't heard a dam thing from MHC! That being said I did pass but I was brought in and out of that room - no joke 7 times. I had go test down in DC it was ridiculous.
