Just wondering but how long does it, on average, take to call after you've submitted you application? Does it depends on your test score? Is it the same for border patrol?

Things seem to be moving more quickly, as they are sending people to places they specifically need help at. I'd say a safe estimate is 8-16 months. To my knowledge, if you get a TSL (tentative selective letter) you are good to go for that location. Now whether you get one could be scored based, I don't really know.

I was wondering cause last time I took the test it took them almost 2 years to call me. I saw on USA jobs theirs openings for both border patrol and CBP I wanted to apply again.

I took my test on September 2014. My polygraph scheduled for October 16th. I did not meet with my background investigator yet. It is a long process but as long as I am still in the process, I won't complain

This my sound like a dumb question but any tips for the logic and reasoning part. Last time I took I failed it haha.

Deep breathes man lol. I felt the same way until I realized... If we have that mentality than we won't live a good life until the process is over. That's not right. Dont give yourself useless anxiety. Instead keep your self busy! And keep your mind OFF of the process and more on your own personal daily life! We all have these days man... It's important to realize one day you are going to look back and appreciate the struggle. The struggle is when we learn who we are! "You dont know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have"! I look at the quote everyday! Keep the faith people!!!!

LOL omg!!! I AM though!!! I just wrote 2 essays, I am currently taking 5 English classes (English Major), I have 2 jobs, one at a clothing store and another at a middle school in the BRONX!!! can my life get any busier lol!!!??????

Although I would LOVEEEE the call tomorrow I do want to finish with my bachelors at least. I would just love to move on to the next step!

I might be the wrong person to answer this question. Because English is my second language and I thought that I will failed the test. I just studied the materials day and night and with my luck I passed.

Yes. You also get taxed at your locality's tax rate. If I remember correctly, I signed a residency waiver or something like that prior to leaving for FLETC.

Was hoping to have an update on CASS but no. Background Investigation still states: "Background investigation forms received pending review for completeness of forms or pending completion of medical, drug test, fitness exam or structured interview if required."
