Good luck. Nothing is ever "normal" they have no set way of doing things. Don't panic. As long as your being scheduled for things and not receiving a notice of disqualification I wouldn't worry.

I was nervous as heck for the pft2! Two females failed the situps. But once you just stay relaxed and do what you went there to do it will be fine.

Everyones experience is different. I had a good one. Just stay calm and you will be fine.

If I ever make it to the pft2, there is no way I am failing! It amazes me when I hear that people fail. Everyone knows what the pft2 entails, so there is no excuse not to be prepared for it. This process can be very long and to make it that far and fail is sickening to me.

Right. It gives me knots in my throat. It's probably the only thing in the entire process out out exactly how it is. Both pft's are exactly what they tell u it will be. Sorry to hear anyone fails them.

Yes! I was kind of shocked that it was the sit-ups. I can understand more maybe the pushups. Everyone handles their situation different I guess. Like you said steph you know exactly what to practice because they give it to you once you pass the vbt and its on the website. Its up to you to work hard for what you want. Its 25 situps.

I think people focus on practicing each portion individually and don't take into account that you do each portion back to back with minutes in between.

Yes that's very true. I realized that after the pft1 the step up wasn't as hard when I practiced at home with breaks in between but then again the adrenaline the day of the exam wouldn't allow me to stop even though I was dripping sweat (gross I know)
