Do you know how long it took from the date your investigator submitted his report to getting called for the drug test to getting the drug test cleared?

Hello guys, first time I post but I come once in a while to read.

I'm a 13-1 applicant live in the NY area. I received a call to schedule my polygraph and the agent offer me to go to Indiana to have it done because she doesn't think it will happen anytime soon up here since they are so busy and don't have enough personal.

I thought about for 2 days and called her back, I schedule my poly for the beginning of Feb. I have to pay for all my expenses.

Smart move. I wouldn't dilly dally around if I was you. Something most if any of you don't know about is their new program since last summer to return people they hired previously in places they didn't want to be. They deliberately hired people where they didn't want to be for at least 7 years to counter corruption on the SW Border. Now and it's come back to haunt them which is why they are offering choices lately rather than just shoving you some place take it or leave it. The problem for you guys is that these refugee officers get first crack at openings in he same ports you are putting in for. And believe me there are countless miserable CBPO's on the SW border and places like N Maine clamoring to get home. As a result those say 20 positions soon turn to 4 and guess who sucks hind titty, you do?
Anyways I just thought I would toss that out there as I'm sure the agency is not going to tell you any of this. So if you see a place has 15 openings last week yet you can't seem to get one because they suddenly dry up this is a very probable explanation of how it happened. As always too the nicer more desirable ports go first because they have been around and know which ones to pick.

Hey Josh, keep at it. My poly is coming up soon. I never I thought that day would ever come. It has been a long road since my entrance exam in 8/13. Things happen, everyone at MHC is human and capable or error. I had 3 major balls dropped on my application during my process so far but it is important to stay on top of everything and be proactive when/where you can.

Has anyone else out there taken the recent CBP test, a little over a month ago? I got my NOR yesterday, and scored nice N high, but it didnt say anything about the rest of the process. Does anyone know whats next, like next steps, timelines ect?

The process- 1) look at the job posting
2) Look at other peoples signature line. many have time lines that will give you an idea.

Also, if you're on mobile, you can't see signatures (other than Stephs). Go on a computer.

14-1 and 14-2 have been going faster than other years. Although I think 14-2 is going slower, but I can't tell if that's because we had the holidays mixed in our timeline. Although 14-2 did get E-QIP forms earlier than 14-1
