nice nice. Well goodluck with your VBT/SI on Friday. I have mine Wednesday.

    • So in the NOPA letter, there were two emails listed: One for my adjudicator and the other seemed to be the standard CBP IA email. Friday I sent my response to my adjudicator. Haven't heard anything back. I even left a voice message to confirm whether my adjudicator received my email. Still nothing.

Well, since I noticed a word I didn't spell correctly, I corrected it and re-sent my email to my adjudicator. I also sent the email to other email in the aforementioned, and guess what? I got a response back:

Thank you Jason Bourne. We are in receipt of your email.

Yea, I took my VBT, waited for about 20 minutes, then got called back in to take my SI. After the SI was finished, waited another 5 minutes or so and the Officer came out and told me I passed and handed me the PFT2 paperwork.

Hey Cur, what was the IA email they gave you? I'm going on 6 months since my BI info. was sent to IA and haven't heard anything back. I know the process is long but I'd like to give a shot and see if I can get any info. Even if I hear from them "we are really backlogged" I would be at ease vs "we lost your papers in the huge stack."

          • Try this number: 202-344-1800

That's the number to IA, but I think you need to contact your case manager pertaining to your BI. I could be wrong, though.

Is it because I did not pass the vbt? They did not tell me if I passed or not they just said the would let me know of the results later.
Usually if you don't get called in for the SI after the VBT, it's the end of the road; but you never know for sure until you get the results notice.

The entire process is about 3 hours. About 40 minutes for the VBT, 30 minutes for the SI, and waiting. Good luck! Hope we all pass.

                • I took my VBT/SI last friday. took about 3 hours total...alot of waiting. When i was waiting for the SI, the girl behind me got the paper for the PFT2 and they escorted her out. After i was done with the SI, i got the PFT2 paper and i asked the guy how i did. he just shrugged, then i said "i take it its better that i got this paper after the SI rather than before?" and he just smirked and let me go.

i think it also depends on how many people are there at one time. they staggered us about every half hour. If there's a high amount of applicants in one day they might send you home to come back another time. Stay positive dont let this get into your head!

I submitted all of my equip 4 weeks ago and nothing is updated on CASS for me. It's a long process. Everything is backed up. Dont quit your dayjob just yet lol

They didn't say I passed or failed but said I should get a letter with my results in about 4-6 weeks.
Congrats to the ones who have passed their VBT/SI this week and good luck to the ones who are doing it later on. I was the only one who did VBT/SI, waited 40 minutes in between. I was not intimidated or nervous at all. Got a letter in the mail exactly a week later about me passing that step, that was early March, 6 months ago.

Thank you Tracy. While I enjoyed watching the video, I think I won't do it that way just of fear of injury for me as I might the call any day now.

Cur, did you kick yourself for misspelling one word? Chill out We all do mistakes, and I don't think it should be a big deal for your adjudicator to pass on this little mistake coz they know you were nervous. You should be okay.

Kris, do you mean you finished your poly and met with your BI and just wait on it to go green? If so, how long have you been waiting?
