Hi everybody!
Today I received an e-mail to schedule my medical and fitness examination. I call today and they scheduled me for this Saturday (this was the only day available that they had). I been researching about the fitness exam and this is the only thing I found. Does anybody know if this is how the examination goes? I only have 3 days to practice!! Any help would be appreciated. Tks!

New to the forum and the field of LE in general. Currently working in nursing, applied to the 14-1 position and am at the med/PFT1 stage. My Med/PFT are scheduled in different facilities in different cities and I will have to travel almost 2 hours for the PFT. By no means am I complaining I'm just curious as to how much travel will be involved with the rest of the process. Can anyone provide some insight into this regarding VBT (Midwest), Poly, drug test (is it done near a city where you live?) Been enjoying this forum as I go about this exciting process!
Geo: Midwest
Entrance exam: 6/5/2014

How long does it take from time you submit your paperwork until you know if you are accepted to take the entrance exam? I applied late July and was told if I met qualifications and was told that I am qualified to take the test that I would be expected to test between September 5th and the 25th. Here it is August 19th. I know it's on the federal time scale which can be slow but just wanted an idea of the usual time frame. Also because of my hopefulness I have been getting in the gym 4 days a week plus my usual schedule of playing rugby. Will that help much on the PFT's?
ThanksLast edited by hopefulprobie; 08-19-2014, 01:38 PM.
