  • I just got my NOR, scored an 88 this time, 94 last time, and I qualified for the GS-07 level this time, so I'm pretty happy with that.

    • [QUOTE=FutureCBPO;3495668]Very nice,
I just accepted my position in Houston. Keep up updated! Maybe work with you soon!

Nice. Congrats man. Did you get Houston Airport or Seaport? How long did the process take you? I'm hoping the process goes a tad quicker as I am already an Agent with BP. But we shall see how it all plays out. Anyways man good luck down there. And have fun in the academy. Glynco is the *hit compared to Artesia. Haha.

Nice. Yea I haven't quite figured this mobile app thing out yet. But that's awesome that they offered you both. I am from Dallas and would like to get back there but if it were between there and Houston Seaport I might have to go Seaport. And nah I wish I were doing the lateral thing but they didn't have any lateral spots open in Dallas or Houston as of a couple months ago. And they can't legally lateral someone into an entry level position. At least that's what they told me when I tried. But that's ok. I'll take the paycut to get back home or at least somewhere I want to settle down for a while. But even doing the entry level hire, should still be rather quick as I won't have to do a lot of the steps in the hiring process. Biggest being the background/poly. I was in Glynco a few weeks ago for training and there are 12 former BP agents that are there all going to Dallas and they were telling me that they got to skip a lot if the bs in the hiring process. So we will see what happens. Either way good luck down there man.

It will eventually indicate on CASS when you meet the qualifications (and for what band). It took mine several months, after the VBT/SI and medical/pft1; almost around the time I received the BI paperwork. Showing the two scores does not automatically qualify you for that band, first they have to review all your experience and qualifications. How did you "qualify" for the 7? For me it was my education/GPA, where I had to submit my transcripts proving such. In my case, it was pretty cut and dry.

I believe I read on here last week that there might be another posting on 7/16 which is tomorrow. If that's true, you won't have to wait long to reapply and retest. Good luck.

There is another announcement opening more than likely this week. MHC says they can't open an announcement without first sending out all test results from last announcement. And sorry to hear ya didn't make NavyMa2 but unfortunately I do believe you have to wait a year before you can test again.

Yes they are at the end. And yes it's after you validate. Then you get to a page where you print out the pages, sign and date them, copy, and upload them all in to the eqip file manager and send them off.

Ah gotcha that makes sense. I love Dallas, when I went there for my poly. But the locality difference is just too much, so I stayed in Houston.

                                Houston 28.7% Locality
                                Dallas 14% Locality.
