CBP's uniform policy...
https://www.nteu105.net/uploads/CHAP...d__070512_.pdf
Body Piercing: May not be visible.
Tattoos/Brands: Must be concealed if obscene, racially motivated, or gang-related.
Body Alterations: Intentional alterations such as: tongue splitting, tongue forking, disfiguring skin implants, tooth filing, etc., are prohibited.
In addition, previous unifrom policy stated that tattoos would be be physically covered to the greatest extent possible, which is good advice to follow today...even if it's not current and official policy.

Wait you can have racially motivated tattoos....where you're working for cbp.....where you interact with a racially diverse group of people.
maybe I'm missing something.CBP Officer

Some "ports" are actual mere crossings/facilities/sub-offices of a larger "true" port. Buffalo, NY being one. It is composed of the airport, 6 bridges, a railyard, boat dock, and whatever else. In the case of that, yeah, there's a real chance of being bounced around between multiple locations.
If you're actually talking of two or more independent ports...the answer is probably not...at least not as a matter of course. Sometimes nearby ports shuffle a handful of people back and forth as relief for short-term staffing issues. Sometimes people get moved for temporary duties elsewhere for a week to a few months, but most of that is handled with willing volunteers.

If Otay Mesa was available they would have listed that as well. They didn't say San Diego and then have me work at both they listed them individually. Hope your stuff picks up soon josh!
I believe that Otay's passenger side is actually a subset of San Ysidro's operations.

I feel bad for guys & gals who get to PFT2 and fail, and they probably did coz there were nervous. It would be good from the agency if they give a second chance a month later or so to candidates who failed their PFT2.Civitas Ad Mare

I received my results also. I got a 94 which is shocking since I walked away thinking I failed.Last edited by shawal16; 07-14-2014, 12:52 PM.
