Congrats on those who got the call for their EOD and PFT2.
I hope you guys haven't quit your jobs yet. While the PFT2 is not strenuous, people do fail it.
I remember a guy at my PFT2, choked on the run, and was asked to leave. Dude already quit his job and everything. Talk about shock.

While the CBP process is a very long one, there is eventually light at the end of the tunnel. There are so many ways to get dinged out from "The Call" and graduation. Stay healthy and stay on top of everything.

What does this mean? (to include but not limited to the following locations) Can someone be placed outside of the geographical location of their choice? For instance Im currently processing for the Northeast and although JFK is considered Central/East Coast could I be placed the based on the needs of Customs?

Howdy back, couple questions for you:
1) Whats your geo?
2) What does "SYS" CBPO mean?
3) I am sure others explained it to us here before, but what are the main highlights you think we should know about FLETC.
4) Anything specific for females at FLETC?
5) Tell me about "FLETC's chicken" I have heard a lot about them

I have not heard of somebody given a geo other than the one they chose at the beginning of the application.

My guess is that usually it means that a person might get offered a port not listed in the announcement, but part of that geo. area. In the case of the northeast, Trout River and Binghamton stand out to me as options.

Although, I wouldn't rule out your interpretation. I wouldn't be surprised to find the agency offering every location up to anyone...under the right conditions/compelling reasons.

I can answer a few of the questions. His location is the southwest border at San Ysidro (SYS). The chicken at fletc is horrible! Except for the fried chicken on Tuesdays is pretty good. Obviously a CBPO is a Customs and Border Protection Officer.

The investigator called me to confirm a date, then sent a confirmation email with all the info in it.
While observing these other applicants processes and timeline, these things do not run on a timely manner, so you just got to have faith and patience!!!

My main concern is the whole living situation.(from PFT2 to EOD to FLETC)
Has anyone come up with a solution other than hotel?
And when you got the call did they give you any time to think about where you might live the rest of your career?
