They pretty much just go over the answers you put down in your SF-86. You sign off on each statement agreeing that its the accurate information. It's pretty simple.

That posting was in response to E92's posting about his friend having EOD in early May. I know of a handful of people who had longer than the one month pre-academy, but it seems like the norm has been a month.

I personally thought one month was more than plenty of time, I have no idea what I would have done if it was two months of PA.

I was supposed to have 5 weeks of Pre-academy. Im assuming it wasto match pay periods. Im already a fed Leo. I know it's probably going to be late August - early September at the earliest for a report date but I hope calls start going out next month. That is of course we report 4-5 weeks before an October 1st-ish academy date. I've given up hope for any earlier. Now I feel like a squirrel saving his acorns for winter. Except my acorns -$$. Idaho is not cheap compared to Texas. Is anyone else in TSU going to the NW border? If so I can shoot you the list of places I was offered to give you an idea. There isn't much buzz about the NW on this forum.

              • Does anybody know the length of time that a completed VBT/SI is good for?
Edit: Found the answer. It's three years.

                How about a drug screen?

I'd like to know the length of time everything is good for. I know med needs a recert after one year, but that's only a form. I've called MHC numerous times asking and all I get in response is at this time there is nothing needed. You'd think they at least give you the length of time. I can figure out when mine will expire, but I need to know time frames.

                        • So, been a few months since my last post but I've been trying to check in on the page every once and a while to see if anyone's received the call yet. Finally got the BPA exam scores from back in March now just playing the waiting games on two fronts.

                            • So I applied to the new BPA announcement as well as several in this forum have and feeeuuu!! that resume took a lot of time! Not nearly as hard as the Artificial Language Test was :-). The good thing is that everything but the fitness test and the Interview carry over. I am sure I won't see a TSL for 6-8 months though.

We can only hope it goes a little faster than that ha, and the resume process was pretty much the same as applying for the CBPO position so wasn't too surprised there. Lets just hope we see some movement on either fronts soon.
