I think maybe E92's friend might have meant academy June 11th and EOD some other date.
It really depends on what he/she is signed up for whether it may be for a CBP Officer or a CBP Border patrol agent. The two have very different classes and different scheduling time frames.
For Border Patrol, from other applicants that I have met with their EODs, they take the PFT2, shortly go to FLETC for training, Spanish school, and then back to post.
For CBPO, it's roughly one month of Pre-training, down to FLETC, and then back to post for the remainder of training.
So, basically I'm trying to make sure that E92's friend is actually on the CBPO track or if because of this stupid sequester and budget BS, his friend is getting some type of special pathways instead.
If it is CBPO, it's really peculiar that the timeline doesn't line up.
PFT2 of May 13th, EOD on June 11th, and academy on June 11th? Really not possible with how the current training schedule is setup. If anything, EOD at the very latest would be around May 11th, so he is ready for a June 11th date. Something doesn't add up right :/
Regardless, that's awesome that they are opening another class, minus that part where the class will probably die from heat exhaustion.

Basically what I was thinking was that there might have been some miscommunication about the dates if in fact its for CBPO. Ill take the georgia summer, already used to the humidity and heat down here in FL, looking forward to being closer to a beach(I'm almost an hour away now).
I think there's supposed to be around 50 people per class.CBPO:

Man. I was hoping a bit more than that. I feel like there are way more than 50 people in TSU. Haha I feel helpless sitting in TSU just waiting for the call.

No I emailed MHC and asked them about the class specifically, as well as another question, but thats mute. As for the size, I wouldnt want much larger, but if CBP is basically just skipping the end of may class, then they should have one every 2 or so weeks through the rest of the FY.
The email is as follows...Mr. REDACTED,
We are calling for a class that begins June 11.
When we reach your name for a job offer, we will offer you all of the locations we have available for your geographic preference of the SW Border.

As for academy, my class is around 40.
For the response back about that class date of June 11th, that means they must have pulled some people from the hiring pool and gave them offers of employment with EOD dates around this week or next.
Glad to know they are greasing the wheels even with this sequester hooplah.
