Well, that WAS the call I got last Friday. I finally got in touch with them on Monday, and they started to offer me the job. They did ask if I have seen my physician or taken any medications since my medical, and that answer was unfortunately yes, I was on a steroid medication last month, so they are sending e-mails back and forth to figure out if I need to go see one of their doctors again to get cleared or if it's ok.
I will continue to wait and be happy that at least I am getting very close.CBPO

Hey folks, VBT update. As my gut instict told me after the TV test, they failed me.
I guess customs is looking for people who can interact well with a 14" CRT monitor and not real world.
The only thing I wish for is that I didn't fail cause of some newly trained tape reviewer didn't pay attention in training.
Anyway, have fun without me CBP thread

I am currently in the same boat. Hopefully have the same luck as you did. Good luck!

if i were you i would begin applying as a GS-7. Just to be safe i would apply as a 5 and a 7 just in case you arent"qualified". Im 21 and qualify as a GS-7 due to membership in the Criminal Justice National Honor Society so i dont see any reason why you wouldnt be with your qualifications.Originally posted by Bry3213 View PostBees, I have some magic beans for sale. In all seriousness, a question about GS-5 vs GS-7 qualifications. 28 years old with a Bachelors in Business, currently enrolled in an MBA program with 1 class completed. Solid work experience for the last 12 years continuously, most recently as a B2B Sales Executive and prior leadership positions with my current company and last (Manager and Supervisor) For some reason I didn't think I qualified at a 7 so I posted for 5. Any feedback on whether I (going forward for potential other announcements) would be considered a 7?CBPO Exam: 4/29/12

And for the life of me I don't know why I thought I wouldn't qualify for a GS-7. I think I was taking it as a better safe than sorry approach. When you apply as a 5 and. A 7, do you have to do two separate applications?GEO: Northeast
