that's weird. I got an email about an hour ago from MHC congratulating me on passing the PFT1. It's been months since I took it lol. Why do they do this to us?!?! My heart stopped for a moment when I saw who it was from.

I got the same one and happened to get a notification about it while on the freeway.....raced home to be disappointed. The email is probably because of the email migration they did a few weeks ago for med messages.
I also keep getting emails about fitness reminders too.CBPO:

Question...took the test in NYC in April, score of 96 for Northeast.TSL 1 and 2 in September. Took my fitness Monday, already showing complete in CASS. VBT on Monday. I know I am going to fail uncorrected vision but I have Lasik scheduled in 3 weeks. Seems like everything is humming along. Anyone else on this timeline? Anyone see any hiccups with getting a waiver for that?GEO: Northeast

any questions feel free to PM me. Also not sure how much research you did about LASIK (hopefully a lot) but if you have questions about it then feel free to PM, i went from a -7.50 perscription in both eyes to 20/10 without any over-correction.CBPO

same situation happened to me, i took the poly before i met with my BI, but it seems to be a good thing. i honestly dont think i would of met with bi if i didn't pass. i meet with him 3 weeks after i took the poly, so im guessing that was enough time to grade it and give me a pass.

Ok, so I got a letter from CHS this today about my medical exam, which included a copy of my EKG. The letter said to review the information with my personal physician, which I dont have one, as I have no insurance. Thats all the letter has in it, no instructions or anything. Is there something I should be doing?
Im pretty sure its because I was amped up for my pft at that point and my heart seemed to be racing a bit. I could feel my adrenaline going, and did quite well on the pft. Hope this doesnt fudge up the process.CBPO:

If cleared, you should of received a waiver that the doctor needs to sign to clear you. Then, depending on what your diagnosis and testing was, copies of everything need to be sent by the doctors office to CHS.
I suggest you contact CHS or MHC for direct instructions as everyone's review case is different.
Good luckLast edited by FullMetal; 11-16-2012, 07:55 PM."Any nation that does not honor it's heroes will not long endure"

For the most part a GS-07 hire works the same job and at the same locations as a GS-05 hire. One exception might be for a guy who has years of relevant work experience elsewhere who comes in as a GS-07 vs a guy with minimal qualifications who enters as a GS-05. As an example, say a former Border Patrol Agent GS-07 with several years of experience vs a recent college grad GS-05 with a BA in Fine Arts.
The guy with the relevant knowledge, abilities, skills and other characteristics might bump his way up...especially in certain situations.CBPO SWB
