    Also, does anyone know if you have knee injury or something, can you request to postpone the PFT1 test date?
    Thanks!
    As far as the line test i think mine was about 5' to 6' between each line, so 10' to 12' total end to end.
    Seems like i remember people always having a different response to this one, i wonder why it isnt given as a standard distance in the fitness test information.
    Either way if you practice on 6' line to line and its shorter you know you can do more just have to adjust the width of your side to side stride at that point.

        • Does anyone know of an applicant going through all of the tests just to be told at the end that their qualifications are not enough? Or are they good at checking that in the very beginning?

            Hikari, this process is very different and some times look like have not sense. The best advice is not stop your live because of this process. Everybody can have responses in different dates when we think that should be at the same or close period of time. Check the qualification requirements and compare it with yours, this will give you an idea how close you are. Good luck.

                • The SF-86 I believe also doesn't go before your 18th birthday unless it's to cover a 3 year span from when you fill it out (aka if you're still under 21)

                    According to the scoring chart on CBP website under fitness test .pdf if i am reading it right:
                    21 pushups = 22points
                    31 situps = 26 points
                    54 seconds lift lower = 15 points
                    9 line touches = 12 points
                    TOTAL = 75 points

                    Hopefully i am reading it wrong or you can convince MHC that an error was made on their end somewhere. Best of luck to you.
                    I just double check and well u are right.

I have called and always get the same generic answer.. "Your paperwork is in the security office.. This can take up to a year.." et.. It is like our stuff got stuck in some huge stack and they are ignoring it and going after the newbies.. lol

                                12/10 tester here SWB and no poly yet. I use to say the same thing as you when 7/11 testers were getting the call and I sat an waited. Everybody is different, I was told two weeks ago my file was forwarded to the poly dept. and I'm still waiting for an appointment. Called IA today and they said the poly dept is backed up it will take a little time to get to my file, should happen in the next two weeks or so. Ya we will see this process is all about patience and how much you have.
