  • I was hoping that MHC decided to start being generous and letting us pick another geo during "the call" but I guess that was wishful thinking...lol

Congrats!! Am I correct to assume that most the steps from BPA transferred over to CBPO and that's why you flew through the process? If not then DAMN that's awesome, no waiting room for you haha.

Edited: sorry posted this before I got to your explanation.

                  Then, why the application says

Or we need just to follow that table using whatever they say annual rate or hourly rate?

CBPO's are not paid on the LEO table either.

Ya, I was thinking that too Firebug. I wasn't 100% sure so I didn't want to put my .02 in.

Yes they do. And they hold them much better than those nurses from PFT-1. I kept practicing with my feet under the couch.

From what I remember, the test administrator asked if I wanted him to hold it. My answer was an obvious YES. Yours should be too. If he doesn't ask just make sure you let him know you want him to hold your feet.

                          • Received a call today to schedule my PFT 1 and got an envelope notifying me of my VBT/SI on 08/07. Hang in there everyone, and hope you all have a great weekend & fourth of July.

                            • FWIW, the 'LEO' pay scale runs from GS-03 to GS-10.

Even if the 'LEO' pay scale applied to CBPOs it would only be relevant to a person for the first 2-3 years. Everybody GS-11 or greater makes standard GS pay.

I applied for BP back in 2009 and failed the test the first time. I retook the BP test back in 2010 and passed. From that point 10 months later I was at the academy for BP, but in the end law got me and I was sent home. I tried to switch my geo preference for CBPO to the SWB, but MHC said that the exam had changed so I had to retake it. My original application was still open and I was in TSU for about the 3rd time after a few updates. I passed the CBPO retake which I took on April 21st, but I got a lower score (73). They sent me an NOR, but no TSL. Ultimately since that original CBPO application was still open and I was in TSU since 02/08/2012 the call came today. Hopefully that clears things up.
So your GEO for CBPO is not SWB then, correct? Still a bit confusing after reading your explanation. If I was correct, you were saying you originally had a different GEO back in 2009, and when you tried to switch to SWB, they didn't let you because you were already in the process? Well, either way, congrat!!
