Are you saying if we don't get called for FLETC by Sept 2012, we will have to wait till next year? If so, is it because of the winter time? And if it ends every year by the end of Sept, what month does it begin classes every year?
The G works on a FY schedule... FLETC runs classes all year long, just like Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force Boot Camp. It goes ALL year long... Now how many classes for each agency is dictated by funding.

I'd advice you to read up on this thread to get yourself a bit more informed about this process... There are plenty of variables throughout.

I have my PFT2 on the 29th and was wandering if we have to max out during the situps and pushups portion of the PFT2 or will they stop you after you do the minimum?

Congratulations Vrom, good luck on your PFT2. I'm sure you will blow it out the water. It's always good to see ppl here getting the call. If you don't mind cold you post your timeline? I know there are way to many variables for anybody to get a good read on this process, but I'm just curios. Thanks

vrom04- i just took pft2 test yesterday- they stop you at the required tagret number. No need to do more. And with the run/sprint you have plenty of time so no need to go 100% and risk injury.

                          • 7 months, and the reason you don't max out on the pft 2 is because its not scored, it's pass or fail.

                              • Does anybody know if they're ever going to hire for the San Francisco/ Oakland area? I've been sitting in TSU for over 120 days now. I retook the test on April 21st of this year and applied for the SWB. Until I get a new TSL for the retake I'm stuck in TSU via my old application from back in 2008.
