According to MHC if you switch your Geo you do not go to the bottom but stay in score order and as they send out TSL they go from the lowest score to the top so even if you switch late (get a 95 and decide to switch) you should receive one when they do there next group of scores even if it is a group around a score of 70, apparently everyone above gets another notification or something.CBPO

Thanks for all the well wishes. I think I did well on the VBT/SI. Time will tell, should hear back within a couple of weeks. Also whoever gave the advice that your best preparation is none is the best advice you will get on the VBT/SI. Just go with scenarios and be yourself like the CBP VBT guide says. I think that's just about all I can say about it but it was a lot of fun.

Awesome! Great advice. So then when you fail the VBT you can blame it on the fact that they didn't like the real you! LOL jk And to the people getting offended on this forum: I'm with the Rodney King guy... Don't take everything in such a defensive manner! We're here to help each other."Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your path straight." - Proverbs 3:5,6

haha, I guess so...I was nervous when they said to come back in a few minutes so they could grade my VBT. Although, I was instantly relieved when they said OK, lets begin your SI. Everything after that was smooth sailing. *knock on wood*

I don't really care how long it takes as long as it clears in CASS!

By the way facial hair:
If you show up with facial hair, you are either told to shave or to keep it trimmed. So my advice is if you want to keep your facial hair, show up with it and keep it neat. Otherwise you will be reprimanded, unless you have a legitimate reason. Big reason for a many of us is that we start to break out or develop skin irritation from shaving daily.

A basic breakdown is that a service port is a larger port that provides specialized services to smaller ports. (Entry Specialists, Import Specialists, etc.) and additional admin and managerial support. Detroit might send out specialized people as needed but the base port of Grand Rapids is in Grand Rapids.

South Padre Island isn't too far away if you're a beach person.Geo:SWB
