I just thought I would share this bit of info since I am bored outta my mind at the moment...
Yo... I got the same email... That's strange...

It took about a month before they contacted my contacts. Your investigator will call you, if they have anything comes back for clarification. Once your CASS says your file is in the security office, its with the IA personel.

Congrats man. I took mine on Jan 23 and I'm still waiting for the results. I have been checking that mail box every day. It is frustrating to see that everyone are getting their results but mine, lol

                • Quick question guys. When do the e-Quip forms get sent? I read in the CBP website this, "As a part of your pre-appointment forms package, you will be required to complete the Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing, e-Qip 86". But I havent received anything via email or mail and in the pre-employment forms there was nothing in there. I have already completed the VBT, medical and fitness. Any input greatly appreciated.

They don't send you the equip forms. The E in e-Quip is just that, electronic. You have to go online and fill them out after you establish your login on there and set up your security questions. There's a whole set of instructions you either should have received or should be receiving regarding accessing e-Quip (if not email them on how to access it). Its about 50 pages of fun. Word of advice.. Have all your stuff ready, name/addresses of past residences for the last 10 years, names/addresses of employers for the last 10 years, names/addresses of current boss, coworker, at least two neighbors, friends, etc. complete info on your parents and immediate family members, etc, etc. When/where you registered with selected service, selective service number, etc.

If I can recall, you actually get your login for E-Qip on your first background packet. The login is on a page towards the end of the packet. Just make sure you read the packet carefully. The login instructions are very detailed and like sandwichman said make sure you have all your info on hand so you can knock everything out quick. Some other documents include your passport, the selective services id number which at the age of 18 you were suppose to register.

You'll be asked for some info to verify your identity, but it will give you the registration number and I believe the exact registration date as well. I registered by mail pre-Internet in '92 ended up finding the original card they sent me after I looked up it up online for e-Quip.
