  • Not really... he just went through and verified all of my information. It wasn't too bad... he was actually pretty cool. He even went to talk to my a couple of my neighbors.

          • cold! crazy thing is i pulled a muscle in the sprint. i was like omg you gotta be fn kidding meeeee!!! used the rest periods between push ups and sit ups to stretch it out and ran up and down the gym seeing how it felt. before the run i was like theres no way this is stopping me. the run hurt like a mofo but i did it in 14:17.

weird bc i stretched before so idk what happen. maybe the cold mixed with nerves mixed with going from standing still to straight out sprinting.

            STRETCH!!!

Me too. I had 3, that I know of, and they all seemed to be disconnected and unaware of what the other's were working on; although I pieced together that their assignments appeared to be based on geographic location.

Probably not long. Continue to keep an eye on your spam email folder and expect a call from an FTO (Field Training Officer) from your port. Be ready to take notes of what he/she says when/if you get that call. That was my experience anyway. Hope it helps.

                  • I've been at my port for almos 2 months now for pre-fletc, and the thing that annoys me the most is that we have a guy that got hurt 6 weeks into fletc and got sent home. It wasn't his fault, someone fell into his knee. He was cleared by his doctor quite awhile ago.

He's been there as long as I've been, if not longer, with no new academy date. Meanwhile, you have my class of 6 leaving soon, and who knows who else later in the year, but he hasn't been told when he can return to fletc with a new class.

It sucks watching him do nothing and hear us talk about fletc and being eager to leave next month.

                    • Took my pft1 the other day for the East Coast. A lot different than any other fitness test I've taken. The nurse administering my test barely payed any attention to what I was doing lol.

And that is all on your own dollar, correct? Do they pay you at all during pre-academy? If not, how in the world can you afford it? I could do a couple weeks, but def not any longer without pay.... maybe I have the wrong idea?

                              • I took the polygraph test tuesday feb 7th in washington DC, sucks cuz i had to drive from NE Jersey
and stay in a hotel overnight, o well.

QUESTION: how long after doing the poly do you get notice on whether or not you passed or failed?

i ask cuz medical wants additional info by march 3rd, and i dont want to spend the money for additional stuff if i end up failing the poly
