i know that. i was in the military. i don't really go off other people's experiences when it comes to jobs or duty stations. i just can't stand the tough guys that try to scare people when they're rookies themselves and have no idea how it works. best thing to do is stay positive and enjoy.

The only one here throwing "tough guy" attitude is you... You might want to stow it away and bring it out once you've actually earned your voice about the matter. If you're from the east coast you'll soon learn what she was referring to (even the most seasoned officer will concur)... of course it's nothing compared to the "sandbox", but it sure isn't getting any better.

It's all common sense. Don't need to know any policies and procedures. Just be yourself. Good luck on it.

VBT was the easiest part of the process. Just make sure you follow the directions they give you.

LAX is scheduled to get 11 more trainees this fiscal year according to training officers here.

Not for nothing, but I'm going on 5 years with this process, so what exactly are you complaining about? Anyway, as Yoda said, the requirements changed and now everyone can pretty much expect to be polygraph tested regardless of when they began the process. I was born in the US to parents who escaped from communist countries.

I went in some banana republic khakis and a black collared short sleeve polo and dress shoes and it sufficed.
