First time poster (in CBP forum), long time reader....just wanted to introduce myself and get in on the convo...
I have been in the process for BP since Sept 2010, and for CBP since July 2011. Seems like with BP the process has dragged out for me, but with CBP it has been the exact opposite.

If I am not mistaken, I heard that if you fail any portion of the PFT2, you are disqualified....

yes if you fail any portion of the pft2 your done. First you do the 220 then the push ups next sit ups last mile 1/2 if you fail any portion they stop you and you do not continue to the next step you sign a paper that says you failed and you go home.

Ummm may I just say Holy Freaking Scary about that email people got about the whole budget thing. I would've soiled myself. What a heart-stopper!! Thank God it all worked out.

Anyway, I'm going CrAzY waiting to hear from a BI. Every time my phone rings with an unknown number, I get all excited, and then its "Hey, this is Papa Johns just calling to see if you enjoyed that pizza" ...or... "Hey this is the Lincoln delaership- how'd that oil change go for ya?"

First day OK. Did bunch of paperwork then toured the airport. Definitely a change of pace from policing south side of Chicago. People don't look at you like you killed their mother.

I just checked on CASS and got this message

I just found out that I failed the oral board, is it possible to retake it? I've come across a guy that failed his but was given 30 days to retest but I don't know how truthful his statement was.

1 full year has to go by... before re-applying. Nothing stops you from doing so before, but if you get to that point and the year has not gone by you will be dropped.

Your initial score might be active still at that time, so you might not have to retake the test, everything else has to be redone.
