FYI my buddy got the cal today. He got San Ysidro. His EOD is on 10/23 and FLETC 11/18. His timeframe is also pretty much the same as mine except he met his BI about 2 weeks before me. His CASS also didn't go fully green until today.

Of course all, there are good reasons why people fail the VBT/SI. Some lines of thinking, some ways of impulse acting lend their selves to a law enforcement career. Some don't.
People who get coached through the VBT/SI just might end up be your co-workers who shut down or go wildly off the farm when faced with enough stress/danger. Personally, I'd rather see them culled out during the hiring process, rather than see them squeak through with tutelage, and then fold/break at the first crisis, in the field, at a point when I'm really in need of them.
My two cents anyway...take it for what it's worth.

I thought that ANY type of discussion about the VBT/SI was a violation of the non-disclosure agreement...
I second your sentiment about coaching as well.CBPO

I wouldn't mind having someone who could take a punch either.
Having said that, I imagine that there are way too many liability/other issues to seriously consider a pre-employment test/interview that would have people submit to what amounts to be a beating as as step towards employment.
