Did you apply as a status candidate or a public candidate? I applied as a status candidate and I have not received a NOR yet.

      • Got a response e-mail telling me that they forgot to sent me the e-qip forms back in may, so they are sending them today. Got a phone call back letting me know that if our BI's are expired, they will take anyone who is not expired in order when the vacancy opens up. We are out of the runnings until we go green again in cass.

Anyone who has a pending BI and has not received E-Qip forms - call ASAP to get back on track. If I had never called, I would stay in pending for the rest of my life.

          • Does anyone know if CBP will delay any steps due to an injury if there is medical documentation to support it or if you're just out of luck? Thanks.

                Hey icecoc,

I was able to call MHC and ask why I wasn't able to log into cass and the lady told me that I was dropped from hiring due to not passing the fitness test. She did say that I had to score higher than a zero on all parts and pass the step test. So therefore I am no longer able to access CASS.

If your score is high enough you pass even if you don't make the 25 sit ups. So don't worry, maybe it was just a computer glitch.
I wish is was that way but I spoke to MHC and they told me that you have to score higher than 0 on all parts. She told me that I failed because I wasn't able to do more than the minimum situps to score more than 0.

                    • I'm scheduled to take my VBT in a few weeks. Anyone have any advice for me? I'm not sure what to expect. A little nervous because it's pass/fail. I realize they're looking for your ability to deal with people and decision making skills, but can anyone give me any pointers or let me know basically what to expect?
