        • I am waiting for Georgia too. I have cleared everything twice except for my background which is pending. I have already met with my background investigator on 6/6/11, though my investigator didn't turn in my case till 7/1/11. I couldn't believe they gave my investigator that much time to turn in my stuff. But I am glad it is finally in. Now I wait again.

Who gets to be on it? What qualifies a CBPO to be on it? Do all POE have them or only major ports? What kind of situations do they respond to?

                        • I have a question for current CBP's, does Marine Interdiction officers get paid the same as CBP's or are they on a different pay scale. Also what qualifications do you need to be one?

CBPOs with atleast two years of experience (may be one year now that FCIP is no longer in effect) and those with no pending disciplinary action can apply during open announcements. You are required to have an oral interview for consideration. I'm not sure about how many FOs have SRT but the major FOs definitely have a team. I can only say that they respond to different types of national security/enforcement missions.

Don't worry about yoda. He is an ***.. every time someone post something or ask a question that has been asked before he gets mad and goes off. He thinks he knows it all because he gas been on here for a few years. Just let him think he is important.
