        call me crazy but if there are standards and you don't meet them, that sounds like a failure to me. I failed a sit-up portion for an IL police exam by 1 sit-up so don't feel too bad. Now the question is do you get a 2nd chance?

            ok i heard that based on how much reps you do, you get points so though i did not do the reps i should have points can someone shed light on this

              please go to www.cbp.gov all of the information you are looking for is there, including the point system. Under Careers, CBP Officer, and then fitness.

              • Yoda congratulations! I know you have waited a long time for the call. Please let us know how your pt2 goes. I would really like to know how much time they give you to catch your breath before another exercise

                  Sorry I thought it was strictly pass/fail but it looks like you did the bare minimum on situps. If your score adds up to 80 you move on...based on your numbers it looks like you passed.

                  • Just got back from PFT-1 and feeling great, results typically take 3-4 weeks to show up on CASS right? Do we receive any other correspondence besides that?

                            From recent PFT2 takers I can say that they appear to give you time between each... but I'll fill you guys in as soon as I get it done!

                              • Congrats to everyong getting the call. This makes me feel a lot better because I have been in TSU for over 2.5 years now. Its good to know they are hiring a lot of non-border people. NOw I have to wait for East Texas!! Come on Austin!!!
