There is nothing lame about paying the bills, and I for one am always impressed when people put themselves through school, good work.

Okay I can't let this one go...I've read some pretty rude stuff on here and people making rude comments to one another....this is my point exactly..."Exibit A" This is why I dont come on here too often, and yes calling someone Beavis is okay...I was not being serious, If I wanted to call someone a name and actually meant it, Beavis would not be my choice of word come one how corny is that? Beavis?, I was NOT SERIOUS!...and I did not even do anything, someone had apparently asked the "wrong" question and I just simply said, I would like to know the answer to that question also, then for some reason you or who ever replied, got bent out of shape (towards me) when I was'nt even the one who initially asked the damn question in the first place! SO, I don't have time for this, I have a full-time job, work nights and have a family with two small kids, and some what of a life...GOD FORBID I didnt have time to spend on the computer doing my research! God...I think I won't come back to this forum anymore, bunch of immature nonsense, and egocentric people, and not everyone on here are rude, some were actually helpfull...and BTW excuse me if I didn't cross my T's and dot my I's, I didn't know I was filling out an official gov. document on here! I already work for the Fed. Govt so I'm not in any hurry. I served 9 yrs in the U.S ARMY and another 3 yrs with the Fed. Govt, and I can not imagine going to training with some of yall on here with that kind of attitude...now that I got all of that off my chest.. best luck to some of you...cajunchick...and others, I wont be coming bk.. This forum is more like a teenage chat room than anything else..waste of my time..I did'nt get any new answers to anything, or any "leading" information that I didn't already know of , or guess what.. that I can research myself! ( thanks for informing me that I can research my answers instead of asking yall )...I thought this was a forum to get answers...even if you already said it 30000 threads back!....I think I got more helpful info from my coworkers, and actual CBPO's that I work with so peace out! I'm done with this forum! I guess this forum is not for me!

Yeah, tell me about it. My BI was a nightmare. I thought because I had no problems in my history that it'd be over in a flash. Wrong. My BI went on for hours. I also have traveled to South America, mostly Peru, about 11 times in the last 2-3 years and I had explain and document each trip in detail and document essentially every person I knew or spent time with while in South America. Basically, my investigator went through my passport and then by each stamp!!! I had to try and recall as much information as I could. Granted, most of the trips were just for vacation and to hang out during breaks from college and summers but the business aspect was a mess. I made it through, nonetheless, and glad it's over. But, I always knew that if you have nothing to hide then there shouldn't be any worries And, of course, I had nothing to hide!

                      Lucky you.

I tell most people that I assemble bicycles for Walmart. It's a nice safe job that usually doesn't give anybody any reason to take a second look at me.

You're fortunate, if and when you get hired you pretty much have your cover job down pat already.

                      • I work as an import specialist at a Customs Brokerage. Which I find incredibly frustrating as I get to go to the port I intend to work at 5 days a week and get asked regularly by the officers if I have received the call.
