Hey just letting you know I got lost on your list. I was on it at one point but am not on the more recent ones! I am the only one for Minneapolis so its not that important but its nice to be represented ya know?

i saw the instructions for the people giving the fitness test. for the side step, every line counts as one. you start in the middle. move left 1, center 2, right 3, middle 4, left 5, middle 6, right 7.....etc...that is how it is supposed to go.

Burrell....if you think about it....if you scored high....like maybe a 14......that means you touched more than 1 line per second.....outside lines being 12 feet apart....I don't see how that is possible. The only thing that makes sense is them counting the middle line.

Now that I think about it, you might be right. I really don't remember the lady counting when I crossed the center line though. I was going pretty damn fast, but I ain't lightning.

I looked up his previous posts and most of them were on the L.A.S.D. thread, not CBP. I'm thinking that he is not going for CBP but I could be wrong.

Im telling yall, thats not what they did for me. She counted out loud everytime I finished a complete round, but again, my outer lines were only about 4 or 5 feet apart not 12 ft, thats why I'm thinking that they may give the testing facility an option depending on the amount of room they have to accomodate the test. My advice to everyone having to take or retake the test, they give you the testing facility phone number. Call them to find out how they do it. I called my testing place because I couldnt believe they wanted me to do 20 MALE push-ups and only gave me 2 weeks notice (8 of those days I was in Disney. Made for a wonderful trip stressing about it not to mention the push ups i had to do in the hotel room)! But they will let you know the details of the test if you just ask them. I would hate for anyone to fail it so please be safe rather than sorry. (wow, mom mode just surfaced)

Push up 24 or more in one minute
sit and reach 12.5 inches
220 yard run 45 seconds or less
1.5 mile run 15 min or less

I just talk to nhc-medical. the lady said they are supposed to count every line you touch, centerline included. I had to send a formal email to them. My score should have been 13. She is going to forward it to an applicant supervisor for review. I scored 99 points without the line test. I should be at 135 points. I will let you all know what happens from here. I even volunteered to retake the test as it is really no big deal. I knew that had to be the case. I am no Michael Johnson, but I am not fat Albert either......

hey justwaiting, as far as i know yes they are all still on the forum and did not get the call yet. The list i started also has members from the delphi forum. When i hear anyone on the list who got 'the call' i will highlight the name and geo.
