ftlaud would have more info than I, but IMHO find someplace else to work. There is a lot going on with BSO right now, and there are a lot of better agencies. Not to mention they are one of the few that still work 5-8 hour days. Insane for the size they are. Process is pretty normal. Oral Board, Poly, Psych, Background, Physical.
In law enforcement, the customer is ALWAYS wrong.

In God we trust. Everyone else is run through NCIC.

Sometimes there is justice. Sometimes there is just us.

I'd rather be tried by 12 then carried by 6.

The opinions given in my posts do not necessarily reflect the opinions, views, policies, and/or procedures of my employing agency. They are my personal opinions only.

BSO hiring is similar to other agencies with oral boards, background, physical, etc.

There are other cities in the county with departments that some might say would be better to work for. Although I suggest you either getting in touch with members of those agencies, including BSO or calling. Check out Pembroke Pines, Plantation, Coral Springs, Ft. Lauderdale.
