    Not to sound like a jerk, but if you dont like the dept. why dont you find another one? From what I have HEARD if you get some experience with APD, you can get on with other depts. easier.

      Can anyone provide information regarding APD's pension? What is normal retirement age? How many years of service at what percentage? Is there a COLA in the pension?

      For those that are with APD 2 other questions:
      1. How much is family medical insurance per pay period?
      2. How stringent is APD with regards to background investigations?
