Hi everybody, I am new member here and I was lookin for some info, I have heard many diffrent stories concerning juvenile records when applying for a p.d. some officers I know said they dont matter as long as they arent serious while others have said that you do not have to disclose them at all and I have heard that they can be a dq factor, if anyone here has experience with this subject it would be appreaciated, thanks.

You need to disclose everything from your background. Everything. IF you don't and your BI finds out, you will be Dq'ed. Simple as that.

It may depend on the agency but I'd go with the assumption that they'll get access to your juvenile records. The NYPD tells applicants that they can even get to so-called "expunged" and/or "sealed" records, so you really do need to disclose everything.
