Do you think our ranks matter when it comes to selection/appointment? Assuming all else is equal with other similarly qualified candidates after the background phase. Or does rank just matter when it comes to processing invitation?

if thats true It’s gonna be tough for them to get 200-250 from that number after psych, BI and polygraph

I processed October Rank 34&&. I heard I’m 1 of 100 left over from class 212. Im sure they’ll follow the same process with December processes fill class 213 and remember in line for class 214. GL Brothers and sisters .

Summer of 2023. If my math is right, they are up to 8000ish

Commspec22. Your rank on the list does in fact play a factor for appointment. Lets say 1000 people were invited and of those 1000 only 400(all different places on the list) pass all pre hiring requirements. Appointments would be made of those 400 in order of their placement on the civil service test list.

All in all, my recommendation to everyone on this thread is this: take it day by day, attend processing steps as they come at you and go about your life. Control what you can control, which as of now is your health and wellness. If the chips call correctly, you'll get in, if they dont. It is what it is.

Moral of the story? Just go with it and hope for the best.

You think 40+ probationary troopers will resign? Not a chance. Maaaaybe 2-3 will tops. More will be fired than resign, guaranteed. And out of those that resign, most do it to join another police agency. We can all see whenever someone leaves division, and it's around 1-2% per class, nowhere near 20%.

Jaguar - I would think its more then 1-2%. Of a class I am very familiar with, they started with 249, graduating with 198 (1 died). That's 20.5% by my calculations. I realize things are getting softer and softer - but I would have to guess its closer to 10%+

Yes they do - you can be DQ during any of the process. There is no real rymn or reason...

It can be before or after depending if they are expediting the process or not. Traditionally the BI starts after the psych has been approved.
