Buddy of mine who processed for this class got the axe last minute. No reason given. Really makes you wonder how the process works sometimes.

I doubt they’d give a DQ without valid reason, if it violates a department policy than that’s how it is. Its a vigorous background check for sure.

Get a weighted vest or swim as much as you can for endurance, it helped me a ton.

Go to a track, sprint the straight always. Walk the curves. Or just run one lap as fast as you can. Take a break. Repeat

Id put money on another. It may not seem it, but from my understanding, the state is in dire straights for troopers. I was told by one that they are over 1000 short without normal attrition. Factor in those who leave after they get in and realize police work isnt for them. Julys turn out was so bad they needed to run the august weekend.

You’re right , spoke to a trooper few weeks ago and apparently the exam might be offered again in 2023

One of the guys I work with didnt meet the college requirements. Hiring unit had called him, told him to get the credits and take the test next year, 2023.
