Safety Promotion

Hi all, please forgive me if this post is in the wrong place but this is my first post, believe it or not....I usually just browse around to see if all my questions could be answered in which they did....but now I will be taking my oral board next week Friday and I have a question about safety promotion....Part of my oral board is to define, in detail what is safety promotion....I am having a hard time coming up with ideas....The only thing I could come up with is.....safety promotion is to develop and sustain safety among the community...If anyone has any suggestions please let me know...thanks

First thing that comes to mind is promoting an over zealous, short-tempered officer that is related to someone with political clout in the city to get them off of the street and behind a desk.
