After roughly 9 months of waiting, I got the call two days ago from the Charles County Sheriff's Dept. I'm hired! The academy will start on Oct. 3. I'm really excited!!

Congratulations! When you get to academy, keep your mouth zipped unless spoken to, ears and eyes open and do your homework.
