For the last 2 days, I have been testing with the Lexington, Kentucky Police Department. Last night I passed the written exam which had three sections: math, reading comprehension/document analyzation, and spelling/word usage. This morning I took the physical fitness exam which included a bench press of 65% of my body weight for 1 rep, 18 situps in 1 minute or less, a 300 meter run in 65 seconds or less, and a 1.5 mile run in 17 minutes. I passed this as well, although running in 95 degree heat with a lot of humidity isn't fun. I am scheduled for my oral board and pre-polygraph on 9-14. Any advice? Thanks.

.) Be there early
.) Be FIRM with you answers. If you go a specific direction - stick with it!
.) Try to not use words or phrases like "It could be" "Probably" "um..maybe i'd" (this goes back to being firm)
.) Look into the eyes of those whom you are speaking to
.) Try and think of possible questions beforehand and be ready to answer them.
