I have registered for a Weld County Corrections Officer test which will happen in late September. In the meantime I would love to hear from anyone who works or has worked for Weld County Sheriff's Office. The only info I have come across is just what I have read on the website, which really isn't much...
-Do Weld Corrections Officers have the oppurtunity to transfer to Patrol?
-If so, after how long?
-What are general impressions of Weld County, is it a quality place to work?
I have previously applied at a small university department. I made it through the entire process, but did not get hired.
-Is testing for corrections the same process? I am guessing that it is.
I would love to hear about any other Colorado departments also!
