Las Vegas Metro - Lateral Entry

I hope this thread isnt covered somewhere and I just missed it..

I was just at the LVMPD website and noticed that they have "re-done" the employment section.

Can anyone tell me if they are going to reinstate the lateral entry academy, and if so when?
also,
anyone from LVMPD who went thru a previous lateral entry academy or has knowledge of the lateral academy, I'd appreciate hearing from you.

They will post on their web site when the lateral entry opens up so just keep checking it. The lateral Academy is 3 months long and then I think the FTO is 18 weeks. North Las Vegas is looking for Officers and I know they take laterals.
