  • 2 weeks for a BI?

And here I thought these things took forever. Just talked with my investigator from Collier County Sheriff Office today, she needed a home # for my current supervisor, and she stated once she talked to him, she would be done. Hell, I only submitted BI info and sat down with the investigator less than 2 weeks ago. I guess that means everything went smooth, or they really busted butt to get it all wrapped up quickly. Now if I can just not mess up my poly next time down, I think I'm golden.

    2 week BI. Sounds quick.

When will your academy start (or equivalency training) start? That may be a reason why.

I've already told them I can't start until 1 Sept. Still waiting to hear if my EOT got approved or not.

Yeah sounds to quick. I'm guessing their talking about the prelimenary background. Usually, not always, but usually the background is finished after the poly.

Wow, two weeks is nothing. Many background investigations for Federal positions can take over 1.5 years. Most LE agencies around here usually take around a month to complete them.

Mine only took a week. Lots and lots of calls back and forth to my BI to get him info he needed but it went quick. Now if only the waiting went just as quick..

I'm still waiting for mine. It's been over 8 months. Waiting patiently. Thank god, I'm all ready a cop, otherwise, I would be hungry and broke.

                good luck....www.****************************
