GALLATIN COUNTY
DEPUTY SHERIFF: Under general supervision, performs the duties required as a law enforcement officer.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: Applicant must be a citizen of the United States; 18 years of age; extensive background investigation and fingerprinting will be performed to disclose any criminal record or convictions; must be of good moral character; must pass a department physical ability and written examination; must complete an oral exam to demonstrate communication skills, temperament, motivation and other characteristics necessary to the accomplishment of the duties and functions of a peace officer; must possess or be eligible for a valid Montana driver
