Haven't seen any threads on it yet... Anybody else apply?

Pretty strange set of requirements that would create a narrow applicant field

    -Entry Level
    -3.5 GPA
-Must have had a federal internship

I put in for it. Hoping to get an interview at least. I'm cool with an USPS OIG SA and he told me about this opening (He has worked with the agency I'm currently an intern with). I met all the requirements, so let's see what's up. Of all the 1811 positions I have put in for, this is the one I'm confident that I can possibly get referred.

In other words, they already have someone in mind.

I too applied to this announcement, but it seems like this was specifically tailored for somebody.

I was actually told it was an actual opening. It wasn't for a certain person, but for college students with some type of exposure to federal law enforcement.

Yup, that's what I get for every single announcement I've ever applied to. I was surprised to see that they sent out referrals so quickly. But in a way I guess I can't be too surprised when these jobs only have one vacancy.

The best way to get on as an 1811 with this agency is through their student cooperative program. Unfortunately, they don't have man openings for it like they used to.

Easier to mold young recent college graduates into their liking they see fit for the Agency.
