      • PSU explained, "Your paperwork is pending on approved or disapproved and once everything is finalized they will send a letter out".

Is anyone else on the same boat because of an unfavorable polygraph?

I am. I received inconclusive on CBP poly and I've been waiting for months for that infamous letter.

I call almost every week and the answer is always the same. "It's pending decision"

They have not allowed that in the past. You should ask HR though, worst they can say is no.

                  • They may not but since they messed up your pre-clearance 3 times I would ask him to send me anywhere except for Iraq

                    • Question for the people who have already completed their medical / fitness exam. I have mine coming up so just wondering for those who have VA Disability did anyone take documentation from specialist clearing them to their fitness and medical exam? I just recently saw a couple of specialists for each issue trying to be proactive so I was wondering if they would accept that documentation at the exam?

I did and it worked for me. when I got my tsl I took the physical requirements to my orthopedic surgeon. he did a full physical (ROM,strength test etc) based off those requirements. it was good enough to clear me. make sure your Dr references whatever disability you are claiming in his report.

Don't speak like that bro, some locations can really be quite miserable. Unless you want to live in a specific area for whatever reason, places like Dilley, Karnes City, Lumpkin, Eloy, Florence, etc. can really suck. The work life at those places is not very exciting, and unless you are from those places, the personal life can suck pretty bad too. The idea of taking the position to get a foot in the door then later transfer doesn't always work out either.

Honestly, I bet you will have more job satisfaction if you commission and close out your military career. That is something I still regret not doing sometimes. And at the end of the day, you can always come back into Fed LE after you retire from the mil if you want because they waive the age restriction for people with Vets Pref.

Dude, haven't you been a perpetual applicant for like forever? I remember your screen name since like my first app many years ago. You still haven't gotten a Fed gig yet? If that's the case you should definitely be pursuing local LE, lots of Feds wish they were locals anyways, at least when it comes to job satisfaction and a better home life.
